Qatar Shell recently did a factory visit at International Gulf Trading Company – Fire Extinguisher Division that manufactures Oryx Fire Extinguisher. Ms. Foteini Nikolopoulou – HSSE Manager and Mr. David Pattinson – Emergency Response Coordinator was welcome by Mr. Maged Hassabalah – Sales Manager and conducted a company presentation for the general products & services the company has to offer. Mr. Zaher Aboudaher – Maintenance Manager showed the company’s Service Center where they do the service and Maintenance of fire extinguisher. A step by step demonstration on how service and maintenance was conducted as well. Mr. Gerrit Ellerman – Operation Manager for the fire extinguisher division presented the assembly line where the actual fire extinguisher of different ranges is assembled as per European standard. A trained technician manned the automated assembly line to produce the fire extinguisher. The Oryx Fire extinguisher goes to a series of quality check before it will be packed and be delivered to customer.
